The preparation of the strategy, as required by the National Environmental Management Act: Waste Act (No. 25 of 2008), began in March 2009 and a draft strategy is now available for comment. The strategy is available on the Department of Environmental Affairs (DEA) . Click the link to the National Waste Management strategy.
