Allwastesolutions.co.za achieves a four-fold increase in online activity

Allwastesolutions.co.za the Buyer's Guide for the Waste Management Industry has achieved year on year growth of 395% in August.

The website which was developed in conjunction with, and is endorsed by the Institute of Waste Management - IWMSA, lists over 175 suppliers in 24 categories of waste management service supply.

The success and value of this industry portal is reflected in the frequency of enquiries generated by potential customers. These enquiries are across a wide spectrum of needs from landfill site management, scrap metal recovery, glass disposal, waste transport, eWaste, skip bins, P.E.T and Cardboard, sale of recyclable waste, hazardous waste management for a new windfarm plus export opportunities. Importantly, the mix of business requiring services is wide and includes companies with “household” names.

Waste management provides much needed employment opportunities for entrepreneurs. This too is reflected in the numbers of buyers and sellers who participate in Allwastesolutions.co.za.

Allwastesolutions.co.za replaced the IWMSA’s printed supplier handbook and the new online format facilitates increased marketing opportunities such as Google AdWords, LinkedIn and Facebook. All are actively used and are believed to contribute to growth. We continue to attract new participants as registered suppliers and advertisers, as we believe that greater participation by service providers adds value and in some way can contribute to a more environmentally aware country. We encourage all suppliers of waste management services to participate in Allwastesolutions.co.za.

The need for waste management services will continue to grow with increased environmental awareness, improving recycling techniques, advanced waste collection solutions and Government interventions. For this reason we have great confidence that Allwastesolutions.co.za will continue to show strong growth.

Allwastesolutions.co.za will participate in the IWMSA’s forthcoming WasteCon, the premier showcase of best practice African waste management solutions.
